Class begins with a season of prayer, followed by the singing of Scripture, and a devotional. The children learn about tools, tool safety, and work all sorts of fun projects. |

|
Each week the group will begin with a devotional on the Book of James and followed by reading together, Reckless Faith, a missionary biography by Beth Guckenberger who, with her husband, is a missionary in Mexico. The book tells their story – specifically how God turns the tables and uses the very people to whom were sent to serve, to teach them about his grace. Reckless Faith is about trusting God in all situations. |

The group will start off reading together John Stott’s book, Your Mind Matters. This book addresses the place of the mind in the Christian life. Once the group has finished this book, they will be moving on to J. I. Packer’s God Has Spoken, which is the sequel to Knowing God. In this book, Packer addresses importance of the place of the Word in the life of the church. |
